GSBE 5310 - BiostatisticsThis course will introduce the basic concepts and methods of statistical analysis of data collected in the biomedical sciences. This course demonstrates methods of presenting data and provides hands-on experience in analyzing biomedical research data. Topic includes concepts of estimation and testing, displaying and exploring data, common parametric and nonparametric tests, introduction to randomized clinical trial & epidemiological studies, sample size and power calculation, analysis of diagnostic studies and introduction to regression analysis.

Delivery Method: FACE Prerequisites: Bachelor’s degree with two semesters or equivalent of undergraduate biology related courses, or the consent of Course Director.
