This catalog is an official publication of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso) Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing (GGHSON). Once posted to elpaso.ttuhsc.edu, the policies, regulations, procedures, programs, courses, schedules, and fees herein are effective immediately. Students are expected to complete the degree requirements established in the catalog in effect at the time of entry into the program. Similarly, students readmitted to the GGHSON are expected to complete the degree requirements set forth in the student catalog that is current at the time of readmission. Only with the expressed approval of the dean may a different catalog apply. In no case may a student complete the requirements set forth in a catalog more than seven years old. The catalog is published at least annually and its provisions are applicable during the stated school year. The program curriculum and other conditions for graduation are outlined in detail in the GGHSON Student Handbook.
The provisions of this catalog do not constitute a contract, expressed or implied, between any applicant to, or student or faculty member of the GGHSON. The GGHSON reserves the right to withdraw courses at any time, and change fees, calendars, curricula, graduation procedures, and any other requirement-affecting students. Changes become effective for both current and newly admitted students whenever the proper authorities so determine.
