The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing has degree granting authority to award the Bachelors of Science in Nursing and the Masters of Science in Nursing degrees.
Undergraduate Degree: Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, (A.B.S.N.) Track
For students who are not registered nurses, the Accelerated B.S.N. (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) track at the Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing (GGHSON) offers students the opportunity to complete a degree in four consecutive semesters, with admissions twice a calendar year, during the fall and spring terms. Undergraduate Degree: R.N. to B.S.N. Degree Track
For registered nurses with an associate degree, the R.N. to B.S.N. track provides the opportunity to earn the bachelor’s degree through online education. Full-time students can complete the degree in three consecutive semesters; however, students can also attend on a part-time basis. Graduate Degree: Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) in Leadership
For registered nurses with a B.S.N. degree, the M.S.N. offers an online degree plan that students can complete on a full or part-time basis. The program encompasses leadership and business concepts necessary for leadership and administrative roles. The program will admit students every fall and spring semester. Post-Baccalaureate Nursing Leadership Certificate:
For registered nurses with a B.S.N. degree. The certificate program provides an alternative option to professional nurses considering graduate level education by providing high-value concepts and content to expand the capacity of the nursing workforce. The nursing leadership certificate will encompass leadership and business concepts necessary for leadership and administrative roles. Students can complete the certificate program within 8 to12-months by enrolling in two courses per semester.
