							  Non-Grade Complaints and Grievances							   |

							  | It is the policy of the FGSBS to affirm the right of its students to a prompt and fair resolution of complaints and grievances that are non-grade related. 
	Prior to requesting a hearing request with the TTUHSC El Paso Office of Student Services and Student Engagement (SSSE) the student must attempt to resolve the issue with the individual(s) involved.If the FGSBS students is not satisfied with the outcome after meeting with the individual(s) involved, the student may contact the FGSBS dean.
	
		If the grievance is against the dean, the student may contact the Assistant Vice President for SSSE.The dean will investigate the complaint, attempt to reconcile differences, and find an acceptable solution.Every effort should be made to resolve the issue without going beyond this level. If the student is not satisfied with the outcome at this point, the student should file a request for a hearing by submitting a written complaint to the Assistant Vice President SSSE. |
