GNUR 4605 - Nursing Care of Childbearing and Pediatric ClientsThe course provides instruction in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes essential to developing competencies associated with the care of well adolescents and children, as well as those with imbalances in homeostasis or genetic disorders that affect biological systems and care of the childbearing family. At the end of the course, the successful learner will have developed competencies related to promoting wellness, identifying and treating common health problems in adolescents, children, and childbearing women, and nursing care for these problems. Includes classroom and clinical learning experiences with clinical practice of selected nursing skills.
