GNUR 3784 - Nursing Management of the Acutely III or Injured AdultThe course provides instruction in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes essential to developing competencies associated with caring for adult and geriatric clients with imbalances in homeostasis that affect biological systems. At the end of the course, the successful learner will have developed competencies related to common health problems likely to result in acute illness in the adult population, including nursing care for these problems. Includes classroom and clinical learning experiences with clinical practice of selected nursing skills.
