GNUR 4376 - Population Focused Community HealthThis course focuses on the nurse’s role in population-focused health, incorporating social and cultural characteristics that impact health. Content includes levels of disease prevention, principles of epidemiology, community assessment, environmental health, and disaster preparedness. Emphasis is placed on risk reduction, overall health improvement, and disease management across the lifespan in selected community settings. The course is delivered online and includes hands-on clinical experiences.
