GNUR 4375 - Information Systems and Quality ManagementThis course is an introduction to information systems and quality processes required to monitor and improve healthcare outcomes related to cost, safety, care, coordination, and quality management. Special focus will be placed on national strategies to reduce errors and improve care outcomes, including national patient safety goals, nursing quality indicators, core measures standards, and the regulatory agencies involved in ongoing surveillance of the healthcare system. The course is delivered in an asynchronous online learning environment.
