GNUR 4308 - Global Health Issues in Nursing

In order to provide competent care for diverse populations, it is important for nurses to have an awareness of global health issues. This course will provide an introduction to global health issues affecting nurses. The student will be exposed to a variety of global issues; including infectious diseases, non-infectious diseases, and non-disease related global issues that impact healthcare in developing countries.
