PEDI 8024 - From Bench to Bedside: How to Use Lab Techniques in Clinical Research

The course will be centered on students assisting with research projects. Specifically the course will consist of 4 sections: 1) instructional, theoretical basis of techniques, 2) Hands-on experience with the instrumentation (includes set-up and calibration), 3) Application of instrumentation, and 4) Significance of research conducted, including generating research questions and presentation in Journal Club. (4 weeks, offered year round)
