PORS 8100 - Orthopaedic ResearchStudents with an interest in conducting musculoskeletal research will be assigned to one of the full time orthopaedic faculty members. Under the guidance of this faculty member (and possibly in cooperation with other members of the full time faculty and clinical faculty), the student will be required to directly participate in a research project. The nature and extent of this project is to be agreed upon prior to participation, and credit will not be given unless the agreed upon objectives are accomplished. If the project is completed during the elective, the student is expected to present a written and oral report to the orthopaedic residents and faculty. If it is agreed that the research cannot be completed in the allotted time, the student will be expected to present a report of the progress that has been accomplished during the elective.
Credit Hours: 2-4 Comments: Course can be used as MPH elective
