2025-2026 Student Handbook

Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Track

Once admitted, students must meet minimal academic requirements for their program of study to enroll in courses for the following semester. Each program has minimum requirements for progression that are included under the headings related to the program. Inability to maintain minimum progression requirements may result in dismissal from the program.  Any student who earns a second F or WF in nursing courses may provide documentation to the Admissions/Progression Committee regarding circumstances impacting their ability to maintain progression standards for inclusion in the committee’s review of the student’s status in the program.  The student must submit pertinent information and supporting documentation in writing using the approved GGHSON template to the Admissions/ Progression committee Chair no later than 24 hours before the end-of-semester progression meeting.  Dates and times of the meeting may be obtained from the Hunt School of Nursing Office of Student Affairs.  Students who wish to appeal a decision related to academic dismissal may refer to this handbook’s Academic Grades Appeals section.

Students who are having difficulty meeting minimum progression requirements may be required to meet additional requirements to progress or remain enrolled in the nursing program. Students who wish to challenge an assignment grade or final grade may refer to this handbook’s Academic Grade Appeals section.
