GSBE 5102 - Laboratory Methods in Biomedical Sciences IIThis is a practical course to prepare the students to (a) understand laboratory quality and safety principles, (b) standard experimental surgical techniques (c) biochemical body fluids testing and tissue histopathology, (d) advanced microscopy, (e) immunochemistry, (f) artificial organs design, (g) drug delivery systems, (h) biomarkers and biosensors, and (i) biocompatibility. The students also will have the semester for the writing of an Idea Grant (preliminary data is not required) on the topic of their preference

Delivery Method: FACE Prerequisites: Bachelor’s degree with two semesters or equivalent of undergraduate biology related courses, or the consent of Course Director.
